Comfort Zone

Botero is a fanciful fine dining restaurant that offers views of the sparkling Encore pools and XS nightclub. Here you can experience a leisurely lunch on the patio on the weekends, dinner nightly or simply a light bite before or after visiting XS. If you’d like a little more insight to help you choose the best tables and the most comfortable chairs, or just some information to help you maximize the pleasure of your dining experience, please read on.

Reservations

Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by either calling or stopping by the restaurant.

Seating
Chairs -- both with and without arms -- are incredibly comfortable at 21 inches wide They are upholstered in white leather and framed with chocolate-colored wood. You could sink into these chairs and never come up for air! Chairs on the patio aren’t quite so plush because they need to be a bit more weather resistant; they’re armless with a fanciful circular back and white cushions that are framed with brown and have white piping for accent.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere at Botero is sophisticated yet fun. Round tables for four are more than generous at about 55 inches wide, generously placed throughout the restaurant. The 360-degree restaurant means every seat in the dining room is a good one, overlooking one of Encore’s two pools -- which one depends on where you sit -- as well as XS nightclub, where nothing is ever enough! There’s a ton to keep you occupied. Music plays in the background and complements your dining experience. Servers are incredibly knowledgeable and couldn’t be nicer. Joe was our server and he was simply wonderful. This place is perfect for a group of friends or for a romantic evening out. Both work here, and that is difficult to pull off. There is no private dining option, but with the tables so generously spaced you won’t feel cramped in any way. Outside seating is also an option, although due to the nature of outdoor dining it’s a bit more casual than inside the restaurant -- yet still fun and elegant.

Restrooms

The restrooms are located inside the restaurant with same-level access.

Dress Code
Jackets are preferred but not required at Botero. No casual attire is permitted.

Parking
Gratis valet parking is available at Encore, as is gratis self-parking. There are also multiple cabs available at the hotel.

Awards
Because it had only been open for a few months when we visited, we didn't expect Botero to boast any awards. However, Executive Chef Mark LoRusso received his share of recognition during his time at Tableau in the Wynn Towers Suites; during his time there, the restaurant was recognized as a Mobil Five Star and AAA Five Diamond resort. Chef LoRusso also has been named “Chef of the Year” by KNPR. We expect to see many more accolades for Chef LoRusso in the future!

*Please note that the restaurants featured at TravelsinTaste.com may have changed their personnel, menu, pricing, decor, hours of operation, etc., since our last visit. The competitive and creative nature of the fine dining scene virtually assures that changes will occur on a frequent basis in order to make diners happier, meals more pleasurable and visits more frequent. Given their frequent fluctuations, most restaurants welcome inquiries about their current hours, menu and more.
