    Wine

Craft has an extensive wine list that includes selections from a variety of regions, including the United States (Oregon, Washington, California, New York, etc.), France, New Zealand, Australia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Argentina and more. This wine list and the relationships with the vinters has given Craft yet another special feature: The restaurant has started hosting weekly wine dinners in the private dining room (described below). On hand is Craft’s Wine Director, Sophie Leibowitz, and some very respected winemakers who join the meal and discuss their particular wines with the guests. Each dinner is $125 per person, including tax and gratuity, but if you reserve for three wine dinners you'll get all for a combined $300.

Private Dining

Craft's private dining room was added to the restaurant in mid 2005. As you enter from a separate entrance you'll pass through a hall featuring bold colored artwork in rainbow colors that perfectly accentuate the white walls, as well as the dark wood moldings and floor, throughout the room. Illumination from the filigreed pendant lighting provides additional accent for both the room and the artwork. Armless leather chairs are strategically placed throughout this hallway, which serves as a lounge area for the adjacent private dining room. As you make your way toward the private dining room itself, the dark wood bar is directly in front of you. It is intimate, with several wooden stools providing a perfect view of the 16 columns of wine that comprise the bar; at the bottom of each, one bottle stands tall. From this vantage point you can also see right into the dining room, which seats up to 40 guests. Once inside the room you'll note the additional artwork of a beautiful landscape in three pieces decorating the exposed brick wall. An intricate molding bridges the walls to the ceiling. Highly polished cherry wood tables are strategically placed throughout the room. Armless Italian chocolate leather and wood chairs provide a comfortable dining experience. The extra surprise -- located behind a wooden and smoked glass screen -- is the open kitchen. You can choose to watch all the action, or simply wonder what magician is working his culinary magic behind the screen.
