How do I sign up for membership? Do you sell email addresses? back to top
First, we NEVER sell email addresses. We are adamant about that; we're as concerned about your privacy as you are. If you’d like to read our privacy policy, you can click here. If you'd like to sign up for membership — we'd love to have you — please click here.

What are the benefits of membership? back to top
Registration is free and easy. It's also private, as we will not sell your e-mail address. You will receive exclusive behind-the-scenes content, including behind-the-wall portions of our chefs interviews, exclusive e-mails regarding delights of the seasons and a weekly Top 10 e-mail that tells you what everyone else is reading on our site, a favorites, so to speak. Also, you’ll get e-mails notifying you of updates to the site—including new listings, new locations and new areas of focus—before anyone else knows! Finally, registering gives you the ability to download locations to your GPS device and save your favorite locations for easy viewing the next time you log in.

Where is the best place to find a high-quality restaurant when I'm traveling? back to top
You've found it! TravelsinTaste.com is organized first into meal types — including Power Breakfast, Dynamic Lunch, Noteworthy Dining (dinner) and Fine Dining (our highest level of dinnertime dining), and then by location. It's super easy, therefore, to find a great restaurant in an unfamiliar place. Simply choose your location and your meal, then see a variety of restaurants that are available to you. You can check out your choices and also e-mail them to your friends and colleagues by using our "Compare" function, which allows you to compare listings within one location or across all locations so that you can make an informed decision about the best place to dine. To see an example comparison, click here. We’ve provided general information on the restaurant as well as detailed information about the space, the menu and the appealing highlights, not to mention our own “Comfort Zone,” which provides detailed tips to help you navigate the restaurant, including everything from noise level and seating arrangements to service, reservations and dress code.

How can I find information on the restaurants' amazing chefs? back to top
Our "Chef’s Corner" is a comprehensive section that includes exclusive video cooking demonstrations along with video and written interviews with some of today’s and tomorrow’s hottest chefs. In addition, the chefs have provided us with their biographies and with some of their favorite recipes. Click here to take a test drive.

Can I compare restaurants, or share listings with my friends and colleagues? back to top
Of course! We wanted to provide you with the maximum amount of functionality; thus, our "Compare" function. Using it you can compare restaurants within a specific locale, or across locales, in case you want to compare a new restaurant with one of your old favorites. You can compare up to four restaurants. To take a test drive, click here.

What is the Amuse Bouche section? back to top
Here you can find the latest information on destinations, restaurants, chefs, hotels and casinos, all updated in real time. News releases are delivered to us in real time, unencumbered, and we in turn pass them on to you, as soon as they hit the wires. We have two sections: The Dining Room, home to all the news that's fit to chew about dining, chefs, restaurants and wine; and the Rendezvous, where we publish news about travel, hotels and casinos. Additionally, we publish our own exclusive section of original news, called the Culinary Communique, which includes breaking news on changing menus, special events and all things culinary that TravelsinTaste.com has scoped out for your reading pleasure.

Do you take advertising from the restaurants, or free meals, in order to provide your listings? back to top
No. We adamantly stand by our editorial policy, which states that we will always pay for our meals. We don’t accept freebies. We also don’t accept advertising from any of our listed restaurants. That would be a disservice to our loyal readers and a blemish on our record of objectivity.
