The entryway into Pinot Brasserie from the Venetian's Restaurant Row is simply elegant. A welcoming glass and wooden door awaits you with a dark sign bearing the golden words "Pinot Brasserie" directly above it. The wooden door is flanked on either side by two other glass and wooden doors, although they're not functional. The wood on the doors and all around is elegantly carved. A highly polished, dark-topped hostess station sits in front of the doors and welcomes you when the restaurant is open. This is located right in front of two windows that peer into one of the private dining rooms. The windows feature menu items that are elegantly and unobtrusively written on the glass. A classic street lamp serves as the finishing touch, making the entire entryway look like one that was plucked right off the streets of Paris.

After entering Pinot Brasserie through the open glass and wooden door you'll see an old friend: a sculpture of a rooster, which is the national bird of France! The rooster guards a glass-enclosed wine closet that is framed in dark wood and illuminated by brass lights. Walk along the tiled floor and you'll see another hostess station -- this one entirely dark -- directly in front of you, flanking the primarily wooden walls. Directly to your left is the larger of the two private dining options, aptly named "The Left Bank." The Left Bank seats about 50 people and has about six tables that are generously spaced throughout the room. A large mirror seated atop a dark wooden cabinet is directly in front of you when you enter, where it's framed in an antique-type gold-colored ornate frame. Elegant sconce lighting flanks the mirror against mustard-colored walls that complement the dark wood, red leather armless chairs and tables, which are dressed with elegant white tablecloths. Toward the right is a large framed piece bearing the names of famous French citizens. Toward the left is a table in the window nook -- which is decorated with large burgundy draperies -- overlooking the entryway and Restaurant Row. Finally, an antique bronze and frosted glass chandelier illuminates the room, in which brass and wooden accents are evident throughout, right down to the brass rivets around the leather cushioning on the chairs.
