Comfort Zone
Since the DiLido Beach Club is a vibrant restaurant that sits right on the beach, you can expect it to have a relaxed elegance, and it does. But there are still a few things you might want to know before you get there, just to be certain that your visit is as a comfortable and memorable as can be.

    Reservations
Reservations are only accepted for dinner after 6pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are no reservations accepted for lunch. If you arrive before six, and the restaurant is crowded, they will offer to take your cell phone number and call you when your table is ready. A nice touch like that reminds you that at, the Ritz Carlton, luxury is everything.

Seating
Tables are ample enough for most parties. The cushioned seats are comfortable and are approximately 20 inches in diameter at their longest point. There is plenty of room to maneuver between tables, so if you need to get up to use the restroom you are by no means cramped.

Atmosphere
Throughout dining hours music plays from sound systems hidden in the lush landscaping. While the music noticeable, it is not loud or disruptive. All tables have a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Beach Walk that stretches along South Beach - so, in other words, the people watching is excellent. If you're interested in additional music, there is a DJ from 5-8PM, Monday and Wednesdays, 4-8pm, Saturdays and Sundays, and a Flamenco guitarist 5-8pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Fridays women receive free champagne from 5-9pm, and music comes courtesy of DJ Snezana.

Restrooms
Restrooms are located within the restaurant, at the back of the bar; they couldn't be any more convenient

Dress Code
The dress code is beach casual. However, if you intend to dine in your bathing suit, they require a cover-up for ladies and a shirt for men.

Parking
There is valet parking at the hotel. Taxis are also available, and the bellmen have no problem calling one for you. Keep in mind, however, that since the Ritz Carlton, South Beach is located on the intersection of Lincoln Road and Collins Avenue it is also a short jaunt to many of the main attractions on South Beach. Valet parking is complimentary when you dine in any of the restaurants and lounges. Limousine services are available upon request at the hotel.

Awards
Voted one of the world's best hotels in the Continental US; 77 of Travel & Leisure Magazines' World's Best Hotel; 2004 was placed on 15 to watch list by Travel & Leisure Magazine.
