The outdoor terrace at Wish is reminiscent of a tropical paradise. Large white umbrellas and torchiere-style heat lamps adorn the patio. Once seated, you will note the hotel's beautiful circular etched glass porthole windows, which feature Floridian scenes of local birds, flowers and palm trees. The outside patio seats about 130 and has views of the indoor bar area, the entryway to the hotel-in case you want to see incognito guests checking in and out-and the shopping on 8th Street, where a number of designer stores are within walking distance. Because the outdoor terrace is lushly landscaped with palm trees and other large, leafy green bushes and foliage, you probably won't be able to see across the street. Of course, people across the street won't be able to see you, either, so you don't need to worry about passersby interrupting your meal. There is also an Inner Garden, the lower patio, the focal point of which is a large palm tree with a fountain.

Tables are both square and round, made of glass surrounded by wrought iron. The chairs have comfortable cushions on the bottom and the back that are designed with a freeform pattern of blended tropical colors, accentuating South Florida's native green, white and blue hues. Square tables are about 26 inches square and are reasonably spaced, while the comfortable chairs are about 18 inches at their maximum diameter.
