Rene Lenger joins Wynn Las Vegas as the Executive Chef of The Country Club, A New American Steakhouse. Chef Lenger's goal with The Country Club is to give guests a little bit of everything with classic steakhouse fare as well as seafood, poultry and enticing side dishes.

"I am excited to bring Las Vegas diners a new steakhouse concept that has something for any type of appetite or palette," says Lenger. "My goal is to marry a classic steakhouse and all that implies – prime cuts of meat and indulgent side dishes in a comfortable atmosphere with a few surprises for those who are looking for other options."

   
     
    
Lenger's arrival as Executive Chef at The Country Club is a natural progression for the chef. He spent the past seven years working alongside David Walzog, (former Executive Chef of The Country Club, now Executive Chef of SW Steakhouse, also at Wynn Las Vegas) at Strip House, Michael Jordan's and Monkey Bar, where they were both key members of the Glazier Group, a prominent restaurant company based in New York. Now, Chef Lenger is thrilled to be part of Las Vegas' thriving culinary scene alongside his old colleague.

Lenger brings his love for quality product to the restaurant in signature dishes such as Country Club Crisp Potatoes, Kobe Beef Carpaccio with Black Truffle Vinaigrette and perfectly charred prime meat cuts.
