The Path to Alize with Chef Andre Rochat
TravelsinTaste.com conducted a one-on-one interview recently with Chef Andre Rochat of award-winning Vegas restaurants Alize, Andre's and Andre's at the Monte Carlo. We discussed the early days of his career, his journey to Las Vegas, his menu at Alize and the defining differences between each of his three restaurants. Chef Rochat has long been considered the pioneer in Las Vegas fine dining, having opened Andre's in 1980, long before Wolfgang and the long list of celebrity chefs decided to place their stake in the desert. We concluded our discussion with him by asking, "Ultimately, what's next for Chef Andre Rochat?" His has been a truly interesting journey, and his story is not to be missed.
