    Clogs

Outside the entrance to CarneVino are some telltale signs that this restaurant is co-owned by Mario Batali, which his most enthusiastic fans will quickly recognize. Sitting right outside the entrance, for example, is a table with a paisley cloth and a wicker basket that holds menus. Additionally, there are menus in leather holders showing the specials of the evening. There's also a small goblet holding business cards. The piece de resistance, however, are the orange signature Crocs -- the bistro shoe model that Batali himself has endorsed in connection with the popular brand of shoe, a replica of what Batali is so well known for sitting on a dark wooden pedestal. If you want some Crocs of your very own, these are available online and in retail stores in more than Chef Batali's flagship orange color, in case your wardrobe is a little less vibrant than his!

Bodacious

It's no surprise that the logo for this Italian Steakhouse is a bull focusing on a bottle of wine. What is surprising, however, is the large statue of the bull, which used to sit directly outside the restaurant but has now moved inside. This is no ordinary bull; it's Bodacious, long known as the "world's most dangerous bull." Urban legend has it that this legendary bull was retired at age 7 in 1995 -- the same year he was voted the Professional Bull Riders Bull of the Year -- after only 10 rides were completed in about 135 attempts. Riding him for more than 8 seconds was a complete rarity. Bodacious was inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, in fact, and featured in GQ, Penthouse and on Fox News. His popularity continued into retirement with guest spots at state fairs, rodeos and even a few Las Vegas casinos. For Batali and Bastianchi's first steakhouse and 12th successful restaurant, this seems a fitting logo.
