The lighting fixtures at Lavo are nothing short of exquisite. They were custom-made and feature a bronze and amber theme that’s prevalent throughout the restaurant. The lights you see when you first arrive are chandeliers that have white shades, reminiscent of an upside-down flower with rows of amber dew-drop dangles -- all very Moroccan. The lights at the bar are amazing dangling lights consisting of three balls -- two of which have lights in them -- all dangling from largest to smallest. Additionally, the entryway boasts fanciful golden ceiling lanterns. The main dining area features several opaque off white colored cone shaped lights with dangling crystals and topped with clear sparkling glass balls. Each of these are famed in a bronze-like metal and grouped together to create a multishaped ornate chandelier and they are the perfect offset to the open wooden screens of the bridge above. Orange fabric surrounds the light in the private dining room, which provides a unique tangerine glow that’s visible in the main dining room. Finally, the nightclub portion of Lavo also features unique lighting; one of the most unique is an large, ornate, old-fashioned, silver-colored light that looks like a very large Christmas ornament with gold light inside it. All in all, the lights are very unique and authentic. With so many exquisite touches, you could almost daydream that you are in Morocco.
