Reservations
Reservations are highly recommended for Okada as it's a very popular dining alternative. As always, reservations are suggested if you don't want to be disappointed by not getting into the restaurant during the timeframe that you desire, or you don't want to risk getting a table that's not to your liking. Restaurant reservations are accepted 90 days in advance for guests of the resort and 60 days in advance for those not enjoying the amenities of Wynn Las Vegas. You can reserve by calling the restaurant directly at (702) 770-3320 or contacting Wynn Las Vegas Restaurant Reservations at (888) 352-DINE or (702) 248-DINE from 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. daily.
Seating is comfortable with upholstered, armless wooden chairs. Tables are not too close to one another, but if you're having a conversation of a completely intimate nature you might want to reserve one of the private dining areas. If not, you're perfectly fine having a lovely meal here, just try to fight the urge to brag too adamantly about your wins, or bemoan too loudly about your losses.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere has multiple characteristics – you have the sushi bar, which is fun and you can chat with the fellow guests, or if you prefer, you can share a table with your companions and marvel at the dramatic views of the waterfall. For something more private, you can request one of the private dining options, including the outside "floating pagoda table", or you can head into the teppanyaki room for those iron-grilled classics. There's something for everyone here. The restaurant is casual and elegant, and though it's not a quiet romantic restaurant (unless you choose a private dining option), it's certainly a lot more tranquil than other restaurants on the strip. If you want a lovely time with elegant Japanese food, this place is for you. Service is lovely, and the staff always seeks to make you happy – they might even take you for a tour of the restaurant if you ask nicely. Okada truly represents the Five Star, Five Diamond Resort that is Wynn Las Vegas.
