Utah-Based Four Foods Group Named Third Fastest-Growing Restaurant Operator in the Nation


Restaurant development, investment, operations and management company Four Foods Group (FFG) closed out 2016 by nearly adding 100% revenue growth and securing a spot at No. 116 on the coveted annual Restaurant 200 list from national business publication, Franchise Times magazine. And with the added 55% growth in the first half of 2017, Four Foods Group continues pace as one of the fastest growing restaurant groups in the nation.

With an established presence as the largest franchisee in fast growing Kneaders Bakery & Café, FFG moved on to acquire a majority stake in brands R&R BBQ, The Soda Shop and MoBettahs and will scale each brand to new levels. FFG enters the second half of the year with a portfolio of 106 restaurant locations across the country with 11 additional locations under development. In February of 2017 they acquired 48 Little Caesars restaurants in Alabama and Louisiana with new growth into the Florida region later this year. FFG now owns and operates restaurants in 8 states.

Released yearly by Franchise Times magazine, the nation's top publication devoted exclusively to the franchise community, the Restaurant 200 list ranks the top 200 restaurant owners in the United States. Ranking is decided by publicly available data for the largest restaurant groups in the country, surveyed by Restaurant Finance Monitor.

The restaurant groups on the list represent roughly 5 percent of the overall restaurant industry revenue, collectively generating $37.5 billion in revenue and operating nearly 27,000 restaurants. Applebee’s, Taco Bell and Panera giant Flynn Restaurant Group maintains its No. 1 spot after almost hitting the $2 billion revenue mark, but groups FFG and The RC Group of Maryland are catching up, both adding 91 percent to the topline revenue of the Restaurant 200.
