Switch is like no dining experience you’ve ever had, as the restaurant changes its personality every 30 minutes. If you’d like a little more insight into what to wear, where to sit and how to maximize the pleasure of your dining experience, please read on.
Reservations
Reservations can be made by either calling or stopping by the restaurant.
Seating is very comfortable in crocodile leather chairs or leather banquettes. Chairs are 20 inches in width while tables for four are 42 inches square and generously spaced throughout the restaurant. Armless or armed, there is no bad seat in the restaurant, which holds about 190 diners.
The atmosphere at Switch is theatrical. Although the restaurant is definitely fine-dining, what adds to it is the ever-changing scenery. You can either be a part of it in the restaurant or simply watch from the sidelines in the gazebo or in the wine room. Speaking of wine, Desmond, the sommelier, is more than knowledgeable and can help you with any selection you care to try. Similarly, Anthony was awesome; he helped us decide on just the right dishes. One thing to note: This is not a quiet restaurant; the music matches the themes of the transitions, all of which are executed with the utmost elegance.

Dress Code
Jackets are preferred but not required at Switch. No casual attire is permitted.
Gratis valet parking is available at Encore, as is gratis self-parking. There are also multiple cabs available at the hotel.
Because it had only been open for a few months when we visited, we didn't expect Switch to boast any awards. However, Executive Chef Renee Lenger’s previous restaurants have won multiple awards under his supervision. Because Encore’s sister resort, Wynn Las Vegas, is a Five Diamond and Mobile Five Star resort, and because Chef Lenger has no shortage of culinary expertise, kudos are sure to arrive soon. We expect great things to come from Switch!
