Vegetarian Awareness Month, which takes place during the month of October, is a month-long celebration in which carnivores and omnivores are encouraged to learn about and actively practice a vegetarian lifestyle-a lifestyle that promotes healthy living, saving animals and being kinder to the Earth.
Â
This October, Origin India Restaurant & Bar, a critically acclaimed Indian restaurant in the heart of Las Vegas, will be celebrating Vegetarian Awareness Month. Beginning on October 1, World Vegetarian Day, Origin India Restaurant & Bar will offer diners a 20 percent discount on all vegetarian menu items. Origin India’s vegetarian menu is extensive and includes popular dishes such as samosas, filled with potatoes and peas; paneer tikka, a combination of homemade paneer cheese with apricots and raisins; and Punjabi gram flour and vegetable dumplings in a silky yogurt sauce.
