Jarrett Melendez is an international traveller who has lived in or visited hundreds of cities throughout the world, sampling the local cuisine wherever he goes.  He enjoys dining out, dining in, cooking, entertaining and is passionate about everything food-related. Throughout his travels, he has learned many cooking techniques and is a capable chef, skilled in many different culinary disciplines.  His vast experience with international cuisine has trained his palate to identify the ingredients of a particular dish by taste or even smell, though he prefers tasting food to just smelling it.  Most recently, he was studying traditional Japanese and Filipino cuisine, and he is currently in Mexico, trying his hand at spicier fare and the local take on seafood.  Jarrett hopes to continue his travels and tastings indefinitely and plans to learn as much as possible so he can share his findings with his readers.
