Meal
Depending on your evening plans, you can take advantage of two dining options at Nick & Toni's - the Film & Food menu and the regular menu. The menu, which is revised seasonally to take full advantage of local foods (fished and farmed), is created and developed by Executive Chef Joe Realmuto. So, though you won't be able to order your favorite spring dish in the winter, this seasonal menu does make for wonderful, fresh food. The bounty of seasonal foods from the month of May meant a completely new menu for the restaurant, with all the food expertly prepared by chef de cuisine John C. Baron.

    Grilled Quail

The Film & Food menu is a two course menu that includes a movie voucher good for $25 at any Regal Theater. It includes a choice of appetizer and an entree or a pizza: Choice of Appetizer: Zuppa del Giorno; Romaine Salad (Caesar dressing, garlic croutons, grana padan); Organic Field Greens (sherry shallot vinaigrette). Choice of Entree: Penne Alla Vecchia Bettola; Hand Cut Pappardelle (spring lamb ragu); Spaghetti (rock shrimp, asparagus, oregano, garlic); Risotto Del Giorno; Free Range Chicken (crushed yukon gold potatoes, roasted garlic, pancetta, rosemary jus); Pesce Del Giorno (for an additional $3). Or one of five Pizzas: Pizza Del Giorni (their pizza of the day); Margherita (tomato, basic, fresh mozzarella); Funghi (wild mushrooms, taleggio); Cozze (Prince Edward island mussels, white bean puree, sweet onions); Rapini (broccoli rabe, goat cheese, chili).

Soft Shell Crabs

Nick & Toni's impressive and extensive wine list includes wines from Germany, Italy, Austria, New Zealand, Spain, France, Australia, and, of course, North America (including the North Fork of Long Island). The wine pour is generous, as are the meal portions. To whet your appetite, you will not only receive olives and bread, but also an amuse-bouche courtesy of the chef. During our visit, the current bite-sized treat was a campari cured salmon. If you would like to add more vegetables to your Film and Food menu meal, you will have to order them separately at an additional price (about $9). The following is a sampling of Nick & Toni's regular menu dishes, along with descriptions and prices:

Meal Price Ranges: Glass of Wine $8 - $13
Appetizer $9 - $17
Entree $20 - $42
Dessert $9 - $12
