Wolfgang Puck has built many, many restaurants, of which Spago is only one. Because Puck has created such a substantial culinary empire, he travels often and can't be in all places at all times. Not to worry, though; you're in good hands at Spago Beverly Hills with Executive Chef Lee Hefter and Chef de Cuisine Thomas Boyce, who do not disappoint. Hefter, managing partner and executive corporate chef of the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group, as well as Wolfgang Puck Catering and Events, was formerly sous chef both at the original Spago in West Hollywood, which closed in 2001, and its cousin in Palo Alto Calif. A multiple award winner, Chef Hefter prepares his imaginative creations nightly. Still, Puck is a frequent presence, both in the kitchen and in the dining room, where he’s famous for greeting guests; there is therefore a very good chance you’ll see the culinary master during your visit.

Upon request, dinner at Spago may include a seven-course tasting menu for the entire table for $105 per person, with wine pairings for an additional $55 per person. One thing to note, though: The tasting menu includes only what the Chef would like to prepare, and you're not going to know what that is until the dishes are placed in front of you, although you can certainly voice any food allergies or other dishes that may not agree with your palate.
