Located in Miami's South Beach, inside the Delano Hotel, is Jeffrey Chodorow's Blue Door Restaurant and Brasserie. Created with help from consulting chef Claude Troisgros, whose family is famous for its innovative cuisine and its vast collection of Michelin stars, this restaurant provides a wonderful dining experience that includes food that's delicious both for the stomach and for the eyes. Troisgros' eclectic French and Brazilian menu features a hint of South Florida that can be enjoyed in either the formal dining room, the more casual lounge-the Brasserie-or on the lush outdoor terrace. Each has its own hint of fabulousness. Dining on the outdoor terrace, for instance, provides warm ocean breezes along with a view of the Philippe Starck water salon and neighboring orchard. The brassiere and formal dining room are inside, so you won't get those ocean breezes or twinkling stars at night. You just might catch a glimpse of a different kind of star, however, as both Hollywood notables and fashion industry icons are known to frequent the Delano, where they dine often at the Blue Door. So when you're in Miami, open the Blue Door for a truly unique meal in a truly romantic retreat.
