Reservations
Reservations are strongly recommended for this popular venue. It's completely recommended to make your reservations as far in advance as possible for the prime season, which is early November through early April.
Seating is comfortable and generous. There is both chair and banquette seating. Banquette seating is highly comfortable and even semiprivate, as tables for four are separated from one another by wooden dividers that provide you with a bit more privacy than does the typical banquette. Chairs in the restaurant are completely comfortable and made of light colored wood with amply stuffed upholstered cushions; they have curvilinear arms on which to rest your elbows. Other than that, there are two types of bar seating -- armed outside and armless inside -- plus the lounge area seating near the bar.
The atmosphere at 3030 Ocean is breathtaking yet fun and uncomplicated. Ocean views through floor-to-ceiling windows are dramatic and lovely. A happening bar and music provide a fun, casual, chic atmosphere. Candlelight adds that romantic touch. Service is attentive and staff looks after your every need -- as a matter of fact, if you get a chance, ask for Ricardo. He couldn't have been more helpful. The tables and the space between them are more than generous and all have great views. One thing to note: The restaurant is mood lit, so if you have an LED in your pocket it might be useful for reading the menu later in the evening. If you don't care to be with the crowd, there are two private dining rooms in the rear of the restaurant; one is for about 15 people and the other for 20.

Dress Code
Although the restaurant is located on the beach, its dress code is casual chic. As with any fine-dining experience, a little discretion goes a long way. Bathing suits are obviously not acceptable. We've not noticed any overly casual attire.
This restaurant is in the hotel, therefore hotel valet parking is available for $5 and can be added to the cost of your meal. Self parking, meanwhile, is free. If you belong to the Beach Club, your valet parking is also free.
