    Lighting Fixtures

The lighting at Olives is especially unique. Large circular chandeliers are suspended from the ceiling. The shades feature a dreamy cream colored square pattern and silk fabric. Inside each lies a hollow circular structure that has a plexiglass shade that includes multiple branches throughout. Several thin and delicate lights surround the inside of the shade and provide the illumination for this lighting structure. Although the restaurant was designed by Jeffrey Beers, Brad Oldham created the restaurant's signature bronze candelabra olive trees. Four of these were hand-crafted for the restaurant and some are displayed prominently between the two slightly curvilinear banquettes that pseudo divide the bar-side dining area from the rest of the restaurant. Some candelabras are also in other areas of the restaurant, such as the bar. These unique lighting creations are 4 feet high and have creamy hand-casted shades lying on the tips of each branch, which house electric candles.

Outdoor Dining

Situated atop Lake Bellagio with a perfect view of the Bellagio fountain show, Olives' patio is a spectacular site for a romantic dinner for two on the terrace. Located in the center of the 8-acre lake at the front of the property, this show spans 1,000 feet in length and includes more than 1,000 choreographed water performances, illuminated by 4,000 white lights that are programmed individually. The fountains dance to the music, which includes a variety of genres. Always, they are breathtaking, commanding performances that retain the romantic aura of the Bellagio. The fountains dance the night away, weather permitting, every 15 minutes after 8 p.m., and in the afternoon every half hour from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as from noon until 8 p.m. on the weekends. Please note: If there are strong winds, the show is subject to cancellation. Be aware, however, that even though you have a reservation, Olives does not accept reservations for patio seating. Your best shot to get a prime seat is to show up early, as patio seating is first come first served, and there are only 40 seats outside.
