Demonstration Kitchen
Immediately upon entry into the restaurant, you'll note at center stage the theater that is the demonstration kitchen. A "U" shaped pear wood counter surrounds the kitchen and has approximately 20 chairs from which you can view all the action in the kitchen; 10 of those chairs are situated directly in front of the kitchen and about five on either side of it. All seats have a low, upholstered back and are extraordinarily comfortable. There is a large rectangular wooden cabinet above the kitchen that holds glasses, among other things, and looks like a stunning suspended wooden object. The kitchen is spot lit, as is the underside of the counter. Between the chairs are hooks on which women can hang their purses-a very nice touch that allows you to enjoy your meal without having to keep watch over your belongings.

Kitchen and Inner Workings
Open chrome shelving surrounds the demonstration kitchen along with hanging baskets that dot its perimeter. The shelves are stocked with beautiful bottles of various shapes that hold a variety of richly colored orange, red and green vegetables, as well as with peppers and a variety of plates, sauces, glasses and pepper mills. Presentations that are plated and ready to serve are also placed on the shelves, though only momentarily, as servers are so swift that they quickly rescue dishes from the kitchen and deliver them to guests' tables. Still, when dishes are awaiting delivery, you've got the opportunity to watch all that is being made by the chefs, and perhaps spot another bite that you'd like to your order. The kitchen, which is black with light wooden counters, is fully visible through the chrome shelving, as are the inner workings of the chefs, who move with speed and precision. Even at their fastest, however, the chefs' complete attention to detail is awe-inspiring; they take extra care with each and every dish. Simple yet elegant, the presentations coming out of the kitchen are just as interesting as the kitchen itself; there are not too many colors or textures on one plate and all plates are sparkled with sauce just so, like a perfectly painted canvas. When you watch the kitchen, you'll note its absolute quiet; no concentration is broken when food is plated and there is no frenzy whatsoever. Everything works like clockwork, like a well-conducted symphony. It's a joy to behold.
