Comfort Zone
Table 10 is a happening restaurant on the retail shop level of the Palazzo resort. Owned by the ever-ebullient Emeril Lagasse, it's nothing short of fun thanks to its host of sensory perceptions that keep you coming back. In order to be cognizant of all the nuances of the restaurant, and to maximize your dining enjoyment, you might want to read a little further so that you can decide where you'd like to sit, what you'd like to wear and what fun to expect.

    Reservations
Reservations are recommended, although the restaurant does accept walk-ins, in case you need a rest from power shopping and didn't think to book ahead. If you haven't made a reservation, you can either wait at the bar or take a few steps down to Double Helix and grab a drink and an appetizer while you wait for a table; as a matter of fact, the food at Double Helix is Emeril's Table 10 creation!

Seating
There are several seating options at Table 10: Chair, stool and banquette are all available. Chairs are comfortable and are about 17 inches wide at their widest point. You can sit at the sidewalk cafe and watch shoppers from woven armless chairs. You can sit at the bar with alligator low-backed barstools. Or you can sit at the food bar on leather and wood stools. Still not satisfied? Try sitting at a banquette against the glass wall of the wine cellar. If none of those options excite you, there are multiple tables with freestanding leather and wood chairs in every dining room of the restaurant, including the infamous Table 10.

Atmosphere
Table 10's fun, sophisticated, casual dining atmosphere is reminiscent of Emeril himself; he wants you to have fun and to have a great time. After all, he's known for that New Orleans hospitality. If you want something a little more formal, however, try requesting private dining at Table 10. Or, ask for a seat in one of the rooms off the main dining area. Tables are all graciously spaced, so you do not feel the least bit cramped; four-tops are about 36 inches square, so there's plenty of room to share multiple appetizers or even a flight of wine. Or, if you'd prefer to sit at the food bar and watch all the creations get prepared, you can do that, too. You can even sit in the main area amidst stars and tiles, simply marveling at everything that went into the Rockwell Group-designed restaurant. There's something for everyone here. Please do note, though, that there is light and cheery music playing throughout; this is ideal more for a celebratory dinner than for a special cozy romantic dinner.

Restrooms
The restrooms are located inside of the restaurant, on the same level.

Dress Code
The dress code is smart casual. Gentlemen are requested not to wear sleeveless shirts.

Parking
Gratis valet parking is available at the Palazzo, as is gratis self-parking. There are also multiple cabs available at the hotel.

Awards
Because it's so new, Table 10 has yet to receive any meaningful awards. Still, Emeril's other restaurants have won many honors, including but not limited to the following awards: Emeril's Restaurant -- Restaurant of the Year, Esquire Magazine, 1990; Wine Spectator, Grand Award, 1991; Ivy Award / Nola -- Best New Restaurant, Esquire, 1993 / Delmonico Steakhouse -- Best Steakhouse, Las Vegas Life, 2002; Grand Wine Award, Wine Spectator, 2004. Emeril himself has received many awards, too, including: Best Southeast Regional Chef, James Beard Foundation, 1991; Chef of the Year, GQ Magazine, 1998; Executive of the Year, Restaurants and Institutions Magazine, 2004; Wine Spectator, Distinguished Service Award, 2005; Inductee, MenuMasters Hall of Fame, 2005; Restaurateur of the Year, New Orleans CityBusiness, 2007.

The competitive and creative nature of the fine dining scene virtually assures that changes will occur on a frequent basis in order to make diners happier, meals more pleasurable and visits more frequent. Given their frequent fluctuations, most restaurants welcome inquiries about their current hours, menu and more.
