Don’t let the exterior fool you. Upon entering Origin India, you’ll be transported out of the “mall” and into a world of sophisticated Indian cuisine. The stone colored wall immediately in front of you when you arrive features several open windows that are decorated with low-wattage lights that hang from the ceiling, extending from dark bases and culminating in three sunset-colored cylinders that are reminiscent of candles, creating a romantic, mood-lit atmosphere. If you look past the lighting, these windows give you your first glimpse into the restaurant, where you'll see the bar and some of the luxurious tapestries that grace the walls inside. Additionally, this "welcome" wall holds several framed keepsakes commemorating some of the restaurant's numerous accolades and press mentions from publications like the Las Vegas Review Journal and City Life. Further right is an earth tone-colored, multi-textured stone wall that's flanked by an ornate wooden screen. Further left, meanwhile, is a dark wooden hostess station, behind which is another glimpse into the restaurant.

As you enter the restaurant, the bar is immediately to your right, where it occupies its own corner of the restaurant so as not to disturb the diners. The highly polished bar seats about a half dozen beneath four suspended lighting fixtures with three cylinders each. Identical to the lights you saw when you entered, they illuminate the guests dining and drinking at the bar while spotlights shine on the back of the bar itself. Two dark wooden cabinets sit in front of the earth toned back wall, which houses several glassless windows. The final touch is a fanciful gold, green, purple and red tapestry from Rajasthan -- known for its traditional colorful art -- that decorates the side wall from bar to ceiling beside shelves of additional glassware that adorn the right green wall.
