Don’t let the exterior fool you. Upon entering Origin India, you’ll be transported out of the “mall” and into a world of sophisticated Indian cuisine. The stone colored wall immediately in front of you when you arrive features several open windows that are decorated with low-wattage lights that hang from the ceiling, extending from dark bases and culminating in three sunset-colored cylinders that are reminiscent of candles, creating a romantic, mood-lit atmosphere. If you look past the lighting, these windows give you your first glimpse into the restaurant, where you'll see the bar and some of the luxurious tapestries that grace the walls inside. Additionally, this "welcome" wall holds several framed keepsakes commemorating some of the restaurant's numerous accolades and press mentions from publications like the Las Vegas Review Journal and City Life. Further right is an earth tone-colored, multi-textured stone wall that's flanked by an ornate wooden screen. Further left, meanwhile, is a dark wooden hostess station, behind which is another glimpse into the restaurant.
