Comfort Zone
When it comes to The Lobster, what you see on the outside is nowhere near as nice as what you'll experience on the inside. Just so you don't think you're showing up to the old seafood shack, there are a few things you might want to know. We're here to help, so here you go.

    Reservations
Reservations are suggested and can be made either by calling the restaurant directly, or online, at OpenTable.com. To make reservations via OpenTable, simply click "Make a Reservation" above.

Seating
Seats are comfortable and about 15 inches wide at their largest point. There's ample room between tables, but you won't really notice, as you're more than likely to be staring out the window throughout your meal.

Atmosphere
Music plays, but is unobtrusive. There are translucent shades, so while the sun is setting you're not forced to squint or use your sunglasses. The restaurant has an open, airy feeling and you don't feel like you're being packed in, although it can get quite busy. Definitely ask for a window seat when you reserve your table; it's completely worth it. Lunch is less chaotic and provides for a real beachy feel. Service is friendly and hospitable; if you can, ask for Jim, as he treated us very well during our visit.

Restrooms

The restrooms are upstairs off the outside bar area.

Dress Code
The dress code is casual.

Parking
There is a parking lot on premises and valet parking is available. A cab stand lies just steps away, across the entrance to the pier.

Awards
The Lobster has earned several awards, including: Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, 2004; AAA Diamond Award, AAA Diamond Rating, 2007.

*Please note that the restaurants featured at TravelsinTaste.com may have changed their personnel, menu, pricing, decor, hours of operation, etc., since our last visit. The competitive and creative nature of the fine dining scene virtually assures that changes will occur on a frequent basis in order to make diners happier, meals more pleasurable and visits more frequent. Given their frequent fluctuations, most restaurants welcome inquiries about their current hours, menu and more.
