Appealing Highlights

    Chandelier

A unique chandelier adorns the middle of the main dining room at davidburke townhouse. It's a semicircle that's flush with multiple strands of crystals. Eight such strands, equally spaced, meet at the bottom center and stretch to the top of the hemisphere, ending in small red shaded lamps. The red draws your eyes to the red hue that saturates the rest of the room via the wall-mounted lights, the seating, the Chihuly stalagmites, etc. It's a perfect light source for the red dining room, which stands in stark contrast to the white bar.

Alcove Dining

There is a lovely alcove to the right as you enter davidburke townhouse that provides an intimate and semiprivate dining experience. The alcove features a window that looks onto 61st Street, a skinny cylindrical pendant light that hangs from the ceiling, a green willowy plant in a white pot and two magnums of wine in the window. The table within the alcove offers a perfect semiprivate dining experience away from the bustling bar where you can see all the action and yet field a somewhat calmer conversation with your party. Awards and artwork decorate the walls, and, depending on where you're seated, you have a view of some of the interesting Humpty Dumpty-like egg sculptures above the bar.
