The Tiffany Hotel was designed by architect L. Murray Dixon in 1939. Today, The Tiffany stands simply as The Hotel. Designed by Todd Oldham, complete with the original terrazzo floors, it transports everyone who stays there into a magical fantasyland. Located off the lobby of the art deco-style hotel, the warm blue, green and chartreuse hues of Wish immediately envelop you. Whimsical multicolor and multi-sized pendant lighting populates the indoor dining area that's near the bar, whereas circular chandeliers in bronze, green and smoke populate the other dining area, which is situated in the lobby. If neither of those styles suits your fancy, consider stepping outside onto the patio, where you are immediately transported to a tropical paradise. With all these dining options, how can one go wrong? You can't-unless your cab driver doesn't understand that you are going to "The Hotel." Be prepared to tell him that it's at the corner of Collins Avenue and 8th Street, as you don't want to drive past this exceptional South Beach-style fantasy.
