    Sushi Bar

Have you ever known an upscale restaurant to have its own sushi bar? There are some limitations here, but not many. The sushi bar seats less than a dozen and will not serve the main dining room. If you can't grab a seat at the bar, though, don't worry: You can order from a vast menu of Chef Mike's expertly prepared sushi in the Etoile lounge. If you're into the bar's beautiful glass decor, however, you probably should at least attempt to grab a chair so that you can marvel at the sensational hand-painted glass that envelopes the sushi bar.

Enchanting Glass

We've been told that the father and son team of Gerard and Clement Coltat prepared the glass, apparently working 16-hour days for 90 days to get it complete for the restaurant's opening. The labor was worth it. The beautiful gold and jewel tones are evocative of the sea and the swirling circles make you think of bubbles coming off waves in the ocean. Near the sushi bar you even have a large red circular design that resembles a rising sun. The glass is visible throughout the sushi bar, the dining room and private dining area.
