Strip House

Sexy Meets Steak on the Strip at Strip House!

Strip House, it seems, is perfectly named, its double entendre just as delicious as its food is. The restaurant itself was designed by David Rockwell and serves cuisine by noted chef John Schenk. It’s therefore the perfect trifecta of food, design and atmosphere, making it a Vegas steakhouse of a truly different color. And that color, of course, is ruby red, like the center of a perfect medium rare steak. No matter how you like your steak cooked, however, this restaurant is a gem. Strippers aside (the strippers are seen only in classy art noir photographs that were expertly shot by Studio Manasse in Vienna in the early 1900s, although the cocktail servers also are scantily clad, dressed in luxury "loungerie"), this restaurant is a female-friendly steakhouse for lady carnivores as well as their male counterparts. Both sexes come for the succulent steaks and the indulgent, fanciful cuisine, which includes a 24-layer chocolate cake and crisp goose fat potatoes among many other mouth-watering specialties. The restaurant’s owner, the Glazier Group, has a real hit on its hands, according to People magazine, which has dubbed it a celebrity hot spot for Hollywood's A-list. Of course, that's no surprise, as Strip House has one thing that makes it truly special: John Schenk's sumptuous cuisine, which has patrons salivating for more. Indeed, Strip House adds the perfect dining option to Planet Hollywood in the form of a sophisticated steakhouse with a super sexy vibe. Men and women alike rejoice: The steakhouse is alive and well. So don't gamble on a no-name steakhouse substitute; this inviting version is literally a cut above the rest!
