Strip House is located on the mezzanine level of Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino, which offers 3,700 guest suites and nearly three acres of gaming across the street from CityCenter, on the property that previously housed the Aladdin. Outside, the restaurant’s red neon sign -- which is emblazoned with the words “Strip House” and "Steaks - Cocktails" -- draws you in as if you’re entering a titillating members-only nightclub. And if the red signs don’t draw you in, the textured windows beneath them will, as they're framed with wood and brass, and flanked by red leather-tufted columns that make passersby curious about what's inside. Through the open wood-framed doors you can glance at the Studio Manasse art noire pictures on the deep red walls inside, which themselves are reminiscent of a perfectly rare steak. And, of course, perfect steak is something Strip House knows a lot about, as it takes traditional steakhouse fare and turns it on its head. Normal creamed spinach, for instance, is truffled creamed spinach at Strip House and potatoes are fried in goose fat. Even bread is special thanks to its own unique accompaniment; instead of French bread served simply with butter, Strip House serves warm garlic bread with gorgonzola fondue! Indulgence is truly at its best at Strip House, where a simple chocolate cake becomes a superb 24-layer chocolate cake! If all that sounds too rich, there are a number of salads available, including Caesar, Bibb Lettuce, Roasted Golden Beets with Grilled Asparagus and, in case you like your salads as indulgent as your steaks, a Strip House Roasted Bacon Salad with Russian Dressing, which we're told is a personal favorite of the owner of Planet Hollywood. The decadence just keeps on coming!

David Rockwell designed Strip House and created its sexy vibe using plush fabrics, dark woods, red leathers and special small touches throughout. You’ll see his influence first thing upon entry, when you’ll notice the bar toward your left. It is a traditional wooden bar with a tufted red leather base that’s framed in wood. Large red leather and dark wood chairs with upholstered backs frame the bar while small red votive candles in a beaded pattern decorate it. Parts of the bar are backed by a mirrored wall in front of which are several sets of circular shelves -- each three shelves tall -- that hold a variety of spirits for your imbibing pleasure. Punctuated between are several plasma televisions. The dark wood bar can seat about 14 and is a generous addition to the mood-lit lounge area.
