Chef/Menu
  • Executive Chef: Kenji Takahashi studied under Sushi Master Nobi Kushuhara
  • Chef Takahashi goes to the New Fulton Fish Market at 5 a.m. every morning that it's open to secure the freshest fish for his meals. With his personally selected fresh "catch" Chef Takahashi prepares for you an "Omakase" the chef's pick menu that generally starts with about four servings after which there is an a la carte menu from which you can choose additional tastings
  • Sample Dishes: Blue Crab Roll from the Equator/White Albacore Tuna Sashimi with Ponzu Sauce/White Fish Fluke-Boston and Red Snapper-New Zealand
  • Glass of Wine $7 - $9/Sake $13 - $21/Sushi $2 – MP/Roll $6 - $8.50/Sashimi $3.50 - MP
  • The sushi list at Sasabune is extensive
  • Reservations are strongly recommended for dinner

Acoustics: Appropriate, muted
Lighting: Pendant at sushi counter, spot and wall sconces at dining areas
